Janis Joplin’s brother Michael Joplin and sister Laura Joplin were among the special guests for the opening of the Arena Stage production of One Night with Janis Joplin on Thursday, October 4.

Produced in partnership with Cleveland Play House in association with Todd Gershwin and Daniel Chilewich, One Night with Janis Joplin is a musical journey into the life and inspirations of one of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest legends.

Mary Bridget Davies leads the cast as Janis Joplin. She is joined by Sabrina Elayne Carten (Blues Singer), Laura Carbonell (Backup Singer /Janis Joplin Understudy), Alison Cusano (Backup Singer/Janis Joplin Alternate), and Shinnerrie Jackson (Backup Singer/Blues Singer Understudy).
