The production showcases three plays by Edward Albee, María Irene Fornés, and Adrienne Kennedy.
Signature Plays, a collection of plays by Edward Albee, María Irene Fornés, and Adrienne Kennedy at the Pershing Square Signature Center, has been extended one week, through June 19. Lila Neugebauer directs the production.
The presentation includes Albee's The Sandbox, Fornés' Drowning, and Kennedy's Funnyhouse of a Negro. All three were produced during their author’s original playwright-in-residence season at Signature and are being presented together for the first time, celebrating Signature’s rich and diverse history over the past quarter century.
