Significant Other and Ironbound Added to Geffen Playhouse Season

The Geffen will present plays by Joshua Harmon and Martyna Majok.

The Geffen Playhouse will present the West Coast premeires of Joshua Harmon's Significant Other and Martyna Majok’s Ironbound during its 2017-18 season. Dates, casting, and additional information will be announced.

As previously revealed, the season begins with the West Coast premieres of Halley Feiffer’s A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York City in the Gil Cates Theater and Neil LaBute’s The Way We Get By, coming to the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater.

Next in the Cates theater will be the world premiere of Chasing Mem’ries: A Different Kind of Musical, written and directed by Joshua Ravetch with music from legendary songwriters Alan and Marilyn Bergman, starring Tyne Daly and Robert Forster. The season will also include the Los Angeles premiere of Skeleton Crew, the final installment in Dominique Morisseau’s award-winning three-play cycle, The Detroit Projects, as well as the West Coast premiere of Tony winner Sarah Jones’ one-woman play Sell/Buy/Date.
