To celebrate the illustrious career of It's Only a Play star Stockard Channing, Broadway public relations firm O&M Co. held a Six Degrees of Stockard Channing party at the McKittrick Hotel on March 2. The party was attended by several Broadway favorites, in the spirit of the game Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, who have connections to Channing.

In Terrence McNally's It's Only a Play at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, Channing takes on the role of actress Virginia Noyes, who, along with a cast of eccentric characters at the producer's townhouse, awaits the reviews for her Broadway comeback. She stars alongside Martin Short, Matthew Broderick, F. Murray Abraham, Katie Finneran, Maulik Pancholy, and Micah Stock.
