Something Rotten! Star Rob McClure to Make Solo Concert Debut With Smile

Tony nominee Rob McClure (Something Rotten!) will make his solo concert debut this July 1 and 2 at Feinstein's/54 Below with Smile. The event will celebrate McClure's unique influences through story and song.

Special guests will include Matthew Scott (Sondheim on Sondheim), Jenn Colella (If/Then), Rick Lyon (Avenue Q), Jennifer Barnhart (Avenue Q), and a surprise visitor, to be announced.

Smile will be performed under the musical direction of James Sampliner and will also feature Mary Ann McSweeney on bass, Joe Nero on drums, Jamie Dauber on trumpet, Harvey Tibbs on trombone, and Marc Phaneuf on reeds.

Rob McClure received a 2013 Tony nomination for his performance in the title role of Chaplin: The Musical. His other Broadway credits include Tim in the recent Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Noises Off, Jack Singer in Honeymoon in Vegas, and the roles of Princeton and Rod in Avenue Q.
