Putnam County's SPACE on Ryder Farm has announced its 2018 residencies.
Among the residents this summer are Rajiv Joseph, Anne Washburn, Todd Almond, David Cale, Ngozi Anyanwu, Lisa D'Amour and Katie Pearl, Sxip Shirey, Deb Margolin, Steph Green, César Alvarez, Riley Mulherkar, Stephen Belber, Arabelle Sicardi, Nia DaCosta, Darius Clark Monroe, Ikechukwu Ufomadu, the global human rights organization WITNESS, publishing house Theatre Communications Group, and theater companies including Steppenwolf Theatre Company, the Classical Theatre of Harlem, the Lark, the New Victory Theater, and the playwriting circle El Semillero from the Alliance of Latinx Theater Artists of Chicago.
SPACE on Ryder Farm is a resident company of Playwrights Horizons, and will host playwrights Milo Cramer and Eric John Meyer in partnership with Playwrights Horizons this season. As part of its partnership with American Conservatory Theater's New Strands Festival, SPACE will welcome playwright Anyanwu as well as director Kate Sullivan and playwright Emily Kaczmarek for continued development of their SPACE- and A.C.T.-supported projects.
