Speakeasy Stage Ready to Tie the Knot With Significant Other

Performances of the comedy from ”Bad Jews” scribe Joshua Harmon begin tonight.

The regional premiere of Significant Other begins performances tonight at SpeakEasy Stage Company.

The comedy from playwright Joshua Harmon (Bad Jews) is about the challenges of finding love and letting go. Jordan Berman and best friends Kiki, Lauren, and Vanessa have been inseparable up until now. But as singles nights become bachelorette parties, Jordan starts to worry about his own prospects, and embarks on a series of romantic misadventures on a quest to find Mr. Right.

The cast features Sarah Elizabeth Bedard as Kiki, Jordan Clark as Laura, Greg Maraio as Jordan Berman, Eddie Shields as Gideon /Evan/Roger, Kris Sidberry as Vanessa, Kathy St. George as Helene Berman, and Jared Troilo as Will/Conrad/Tony. Paul Daigneault directs.

The creative team includes Christopher Swader and Justin Swader (scenic design), Tyler Kinney (costume design), Dan Jentzen (lighting design). The production stage manager is L. Arkansas Light.

Performances run through October 8.
