SpongeBob SquarePants, Beautiful, and More Set for 2018 "Broadway in the Boros"

The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment has announced the lineup for the 2018 "Broadway in the Boros" series, featuring free performances by cast members and musicians of hit Broadway musicals in neighborhoods throughout New York City.

A Bronx Tale — The Musical and Come From Away will perform at the Plaza in downtown Brooklyn Friday, June 15. On Friday, June 29, Once on This Island and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical will perform at Kaufman Astoria Studios Backlot in Astoria, Queens. The series will move to Lighthouse Point Plaza in Staten Island on Friday, July 13, for a concert featuring The Band's Visit and Wicked. Finally, on Friday, July 27, SpongeBob SquarePants and Kinky Boots will be at Soundview Park in the Bronx.

All performances will take place from noon to 1pm.
