A star-studded premiere for the big-screen broadcast of the recent West End revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Merrily We Roll Along was held at Regal Union Square Stadium 14 cinemas on Thursday, October 17. Merrily will hit movie theaters across the world only on October 23. Following the screening, the VIPs headed to Soho House for a swanky after party.

Directed by Maria Friedman, Merrily We Roll Along transferred to the West End's Harold Pinter Theater following a sell-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Mark Umbers, Jenna Russell, and Damian Humbley headed the cast as Franklin, Mary, and Charlie, three friends whose journeys through life are traced in reverse chronological order. CinemaLive and Digital Theatre present the cinema broadcast as part of the West End Theatre Series.

Guests at the premiere included Sondheim musical veterans Ann Morrison, Joanna Gleason, Chip Zien, Leigh Ann Larkin, Paul Gemignani, Alexander Gemignani, and Mario Cantone, among others.
