Synetic Theater has announced the company’s 2012/13 season line-up.

Jekyll & Hyde, directed by Paata Tsikurishvili and choreographed by Irina will run September 20 – October 21, 2012. Synetic Theater takes on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Victorian tale of good and evil, adding its signature physicality and darkly dramatic aesthetic. Updating the story’s setting from 19th century London to modern-day America, Synetic’s version puts a new spin on the strange case of the charming and sociable Dr. Jekyll and his sinister friend, accused murderer Mr. Hyde.

A Trip to the Moon, directed by Natsu Onoda Power, runs December 6, 2012 – January 6, 2013. Based on the groundbreaking 1902 silent film by Georges Méliès, A Trip to the Moon follows the over-the-top adventures of six astronauts sent to the moon by way of a cannon.

The Tempest, directed by Paata Tsikurishvili & choreographed by Irina Tsikurishvili, runs February 24 – March 24, 2013. With The Tempest, Synetic presents the ninth installment in its renowned “Silent Shakespeare” series. Expect big things with this production: stunning set design complete with a water extravaganza, larger-than-life visuals, acrobatics and the remarkably visceral experience that Synetic is known for.

The Three Musketeers, directed by Paata Tsikurishvili & choreographed by Irina Tsikurishvili will run May 9 – June 9, 2013. Expect high energy and excitement as D’Artagnan’s journey to become a musketeer readily bounds to life on Synetic’s stage with plenty of romance, intrigue, and animated duels crafted from the imagination of Synetic’s resident fight choreographer, Ben Cunis. Back by popular demand, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Paata Tsikurishvili & choreographed by Irina Tsikurishvili runs July 24 – August 4, 2013.
