The Bridges of Madison County Opens Tonight on Broadway

Tony nominee Kelli O’Hara and Steven Pasquale star in Broadway’s new romantic musical.

The Bridges of Madison County, the new Broadway musical by the Tony-winning creative trio of composer Jason Robert Brown, book writer Marsha Norman, and director Bartlett Sher, opens tonight at the Schoenfeld Theatre.

Based on the bestselling novel by Robert James Waller, the cast stars four-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara and Steven Pasquale as Italian war bride Francesca Johnson and National Geographic photographer Robert Kincaid, who have a passionate four-day love affair while Francesca's husband is away from home. The production also features Hunter Foster, Derek Klena, Caitlin Kinnunen, Michael X. Martin, Cass Morgan, Whitney Bashor, Jennifer Allen, Ephie Aardema, Katie Klaus, Luke Markinovich, Aaron Ramey, Dan Sharkey, Tim Wright, Jessica Vosk, Charlie Franklin, and Kevin Kern.
