The show will team up with ”The Bowery Boys” for a one-night-only concert.
The Ensemblist podcast will join forces with the Bowery Boys podcast to present a concert that pays tribute to the history of Broadway's St. James Theatre. The Ensemblist & The Bowery Boys Celebrate Broadway’s St. James Theatre will take place on September 13 at 7pm and 9pm at 54 Below.
The cast of the concert includes Krystina Alabado (American Idiot), Lauren Elder (Side Show), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Grasan Kingsberry (Finian's Rainbow), and Angie Schworer (Something Rotten!), with additional special guests still to be announced. Jasper Grant serves as musical director and arranger.
The performers, all of whom have worked at the St. James, will journey through the Broadway house from when it was built all the way to today, singing music from the shows that premiered on the St. James stage. The evening is presented by Mo Brady and Nikka Graff Lanzarone of The Ensemblist and Greg Young and Tom Meyers of the Bowery Boys.
