Ford's Theatre production of The Glass Menagerie starts its run tonight.

Set in the south, the show explores the dynamics of one family, matriarch Amanda, daughter Laura, and son Tom, all living together under one roof. As a shy introvert, Laura cannot seem to find suitors, until her restless poet brother brings home a "gentleman caller." With the suitor’s arrival, however, comes the reality of the family’s situation and lives, casting a pall over Amanda’s dreams for both of her children.

Tennessee Williams’ classic play is directed by Mark Ramont, and it features Tom Story and Jenna Sokolowski.

Performances will run through February 21.
