Samuel D. Hunter’s new play opens off-Broadway this fall with LCT3.
The cast Samuel D. Hunter’s new play The Harvest, coming to Lincoln Center's Claire Tow Theater, enjoyed their first day of rehearsal with director Davis McCallum.
The Harvest is described as follows: "In the basement of a small evangelical church in Southeastern Idaho, a group of young missionaries is preparing to go to the Middle East. One of them — a young man (Kendall) who has recently lost his father — has bought a one-way ticket. But his plans are complicated when his estranged sister (Karpel) returns home and makes it her mission to keep him there."
The cast of the LCT3 world premiere features Gideon Glick, Scott Jaeck, Leah Karpel, Madeleine Martin, Peter Mark Kendall, Christopher Sears, and Zoë Winters. The production will include sets by Dane Laffrey, costumes by Jessica Pabst, lighting by Eric Southern, and sound by Leah Gelpe.
The Harvest is set to begin performances October 8 in advance of an October 24 opening and will run through November 20.
