Broadway vets Michael McCormick and Anne L. Nathan will lead the cast as Tevye and Golde.
The Muny announced the complete cast for its summer mounting of Fiddler on the Roof, set to run from July 30-August 5. The production will be directed by Gary Griffin, choreographed by Alex Sanchez, and music-directed by Brad Haak.
As previously announced, Michael McCormick (Chaplin) will star as Tevye, alongside Anne L. Nathan (Once) as Golde, and Nancy Opel (Honeymoon in Vegas) as Yente/Fruma-Sarah. The cast will also feature Andrew Crowe (The Fiddler), Randall Dodge (Nachum), Elise Edwards (Bielke), Gary Glasgow (Avram), Jeremy Lawrence (Rabbi), Adam J. Levy (Mendel), Michael James Reed (Constable), Emma Resek (Shprintze), Jerry Vogel (Mordcha), Haley Bond (Tzeitel), Briana Carlson-Goodman (Hodel), Colby Dezelick (Fyedka), Alan Schmuckler (Motel), Carly Blake Sebouhian (Chava), Marrick Smith (Perchik), and Peter Van Wagner (Lazar Wolf).
Rounding out the company will be Michael Biren, Stephanie Bissonnette, Polly Cornelius, Thom Dancy, Brandon Fink, Patrick Garr, Sarah Goldrainer, Lissa deGuzman, Zachary Daniel Jones, Tanner Pflueger, Taylor Pietz, Todd Rhoades, Darren Robinson, April Strelinger, and Zoe Vonder Haar, along with The Muny kid and teen youth ensembles.
The creative team includes scenic design by Robert Mark Morgan, costume design by Amy Clark, lighting design by Rob Denton, sound design by John Shivers and David Patridge, video design by Nathan W. Scheuer, and wig design by John Metzner.
Featuring a book by Joseph Stein and a score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, Fiddler on the Roof is inspired by Sholom Alecheim's stories of the milkman Tevye, who tries to hold on to "tradition" as the world around him and his family in the little village of Anatevka changes. The 2016 Tony-nominated revival is currently running at the Broadway Theatre.
