Sharr White’s play begins performances at the Main Stage tonight.
Profiles Theatre continues its 26th season with The Other Place by Sharr White. The play centers on a successful neurologist whose life has begun to unravel. In the midst of a divorce and her daughter eloping with an old man, Juliana Smithton's health is deteriorating. As the play continues, a mystery unfolds that promises to reveal the truth about the protagonist.
Directed by Artistic Director Joe Jahraus, The Other Place features Lia D. Mortensen as Julianna, George Infantado as Bobby, Matt Maxwell as Richard, Nina O'Keefe as Dr. Cindy Teller, Steve Silver as Ian, and Autumn Teague as Laurel and The Woman.
The creative team includes Keenan Minogue (scenic design), Raquel Adorno (costume design), Claire Chrzan (lighting design), Jeffrey Levin (sound design and original music), and Smooch Medina (projection).
Performances will run through April 5.
