The new drama about a love triangle in Manhattan is to be directed by Margo Bordelon.
Casting details for Playwrights Realm's upcoming production of Anna Ziegler's A Delicate Ship, directed by Margot Bordelon, have been announced. The drama runs from August 18-September 12, with opening night set for August 27 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater.
It's Christmas Eve, and Sarah and Sam are celebrating like New Yorkers: flirting over wine and debating the nature of existential suffering. Then there is a knock on the door, and Sarah’s childhood friend Nate stands at the threshold. Suddenly suffering becomes a whole lot less sexy in a kaleidoscopic look at one night that changes the lives of three people forever.
The cast features Matt Dellapina (Too Much Sun) as Sam, Miriam Silverman (Everything You Touch) as Sarah, and Drama Desk Award winner Nick Westrate (Casa Valentina) as Nate. The design team includes Reid Thompson (scenic design), Sydney Maresca (costume design), Nicole Pearce (lighting design), and Palmer Hefferan (sound design).
