This begins performances tonight at Barrington Stage Company's St. Germain Stage. Opening night is set for August 6.

Louisa Proske directs Melissa James Gibson's play, which follows the relationships within a circle of friends as they "back their way into middle age," in the words of a press release. The cast features Julia Coffey (Absurd Person Singular) as Jane, Erica Dorfler (The Great Comet) as Marrell, Eddie Boroevich (Buzzer) as Tom, Mark H. Dold (Love Letters) as Alan, and Paris Remillard (Hair) as Jean-Pierre.

Barrington Stage Company is a not-for-profit professional theater company with a threefold mission: to produce top-notch, compelling work; to develop new plays and musicals; and to find fresh, bold ways of bringing new audiences to the theater, especially young people.

Performances of This continue through August 27.
