The performance will benefit the Actors Fund.
The Broadway premiere of Edward Albee's Three Tall Women, at the Golden Theatre, has announced a special midnight performance on Thursday, May 17, benefiting the Actors Fund. The special performance will give members of the Broadway community the opportunity to see the production after their own evening performances.
Directed by two-time Tony winner Joe Mantello, the production stars two-time Academy Award winner Glenda Jackson, three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf, and Tony Award nominee Alison Pill. The play opened at the Vineyard Theatre in 1994 and won the Pulitzer Prize as well as the New York Drama Critics Circle, Lucille Lortel, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Play. This production has scenic design by Miriam Buether, costume design by Ann Roth, and lighting design by Brian MacDevitt.
The Actors Fund is a national human services organization that helps everyone in performing arts and entertainment in times of need, crisis, or transition.
