Tim Federle, Molly Pope, and More Celebrate Stephen Sondheim's Birthday With "Sondheimas" Concert

The birth of prolific Broadway songwriter Stephen Sondheim was celebrated at 54 Below on March 22 during 3 Wishes for Sondheimas, a concert/new holiday cooked up by David Levy of the Tumblr blog F**k Yeah Stephen Sondheim. The evening featured Sondheim tunes performed by Justin Barnette, Scottie Rowell, Terry Burrell, Tamra Hayden, Barbara Tirrell, Molly Pope, Orville Mendoza, and Leah Horowitz, a homily by author Tim Federle, a pageant written by Rachel Shukert, an eight-member Sondheimas Tabernacle Choir, and a puppet of the master writer himself.
