The musical, starring Adrienne Warren as Tina Turner, will open on Broadway this fall at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
Producers of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical have announced that they are holding online open calls for young actors to play Young Anna Mae Bullock, a.k.a. Young Tina Turner, in the Broadway production, which will begin performances at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on October 12 ahead of an opening night on Thursday, November 7.
They are seeking girls 8 to 13 years old, African American or mixed race, between 4'2" and 4'11", who have a phenomenal singing voice and strong acting skills, and can move and dance well. For more information, click here.

A new musical based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner, Tina — The Tina Turner Musical received its world premiere in April 2018 at the Aldwych Theatre in London. A German production opened last month at Stage Operettenhaus in Hamburg.
Directed by Phyllida Lloyd and written by Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins, the musical features choreography by Anthony van Laast, with set and costume designs by Mark Thompson, musical supervision, additional music, and arrangements by Nicholas Skilbeck, lighting by Bruno Poet, sound by Nevin Steinberg, projection design by Jeff Sugg, and orchestrations by Ethan Popp.
