The three-time Tony-nominated A Christmas Story, The Musical has announced an upcoming remounting for the holiday season. Beginning in November the production will tour the East Coast, with stops at the The Bushnell in Hartford (November 12-17) and The Wang Theatre in Boston (November 20-December 8). The tour will culminate in a three-week engagement back in New York at The Theater at Madison Square Garden (December 11-29).

With a score by composer/lyricist team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and a book by Joseph Robinette, based on the writings of radio humorist Jean Shepherd, A Christmas Story, The Musical is the story of Ralphie, a bespectacled boy with a big imagination and one wish for Christmas: a Red Ryder BB Gun.

Casting for the upcoming tour will be announced soon. Last season’s Broadway cast included Dan Lauria (Lombardi), John Bolton (Spamalot), Erin Dilly (Nice Work if You Can Get It), and newcomer Johnny Rabe.

Tickets for the New York engagement are on sale now. For more information, click here.
