After Midnight is a new production of Cotton Club Parade, which enjoyed two sold-out engagements at City Center. The musical celebrates jazz legend Duke Ellington and his years performing at the legendary Cotton Club. The production plans to revive the Cotton Club‘s tradition of featuring weekly guest stars, and will present a series of notable artists in limited-engagement appearances throughout its run. The musical features Ellington’s original arrangements, performed by a 17-piece big band that has been hand-selected by living jazz legend Wynton Marsalis.
