Transport Group's current production of John Cariani's Almost, Maine has been extended for one week at The Gym at Judson. The New York revival, which was originally scheduled to close on February 23, will now play through March 2. Opening night is set for February 4. Jack Cummings III directs.

Almost, Maine stars playwright Cariani, Donna Lynne Champlin, Kevin Isola, and Kelly McAndrew.

The play is described as "funny, sexy, sad, and ever-searching." It follows waitresses, lost visitors, tough and not-so–tough women and men in a midwinter dream. It premiered at the Portland Stage Company in Portland, Maine, in 2004. The play opened at off-Broadway's Daryl Roth Theatre on January 12, 2006, and closed on February 12, 2006.

Founded in 2001, Transport Group is a not-for-profit theater company that stages new works and reimagined revivals by American writers. Transport Group is the winner of a special Drama Desk Award for its "breadth of vision and its presentation of challenging productions."
