Transport Group celebrated the opening night of its new production, Three Days to See, on July 26. The piece, conceived and directed by artistic director Jack Cummings III, runs through August 16 at Theatre 79.

Three Days to See, which is based on the words of Helen Keller, creates a portrait of the deaf and blind author and activist. The work is described as an event that will "joyfully demolish and reconstruct everything you thought you knew about this utterly unique American icon and introduce you to Keller's revelatory and singular take on culture, feminism, romance and politics."

The cast includes Ito Aghayere (Orange Is the New Black), Patrick Boll (Mamma Mia!), Marc delaCruz (If/Then), Theresa McCarthy (Queen of the Mist), Chinaza Uche (Bintou), Barbara Walsh (Company), and Zoe Wilson.
