Ugly Lies the Bone, a new drama by Lindsey Ferrentino, has extended its run by two weeks at Roundabout Underground's Black Box Theatre. Performances will now be offered through December 6.
Mamie Gummer stars as Jess, a newly discharged soldier who returns to her Florida hometown and begins to use a virtual-reality video game to help combat the physical and emotional scars of her three tours in Afghanistan. The cast also features Karron Graves (Kacie), Caitlin O’Connell (Voice / Their Mom), Chris Stack (Stevie), and Haynes Thigpen (Kelvin).
Patricia McGregor directs the world-premiere play, with sets by Tim Brown, costumes by Dede Ayite, lighting by Jiyoun Chang, sound by Jessica Paz, projections by Caite Hevner Kemp, prosthetics by Vincent T. Schicchi and Thomas Denier Jr., and wigs by Cookie Jordan.
