Updated casting has been announced for Red Bull Theater’s offering of Pirandello’s Henry IV, in a new version by Tom Stoppard, on Monday, January 9, at 7:30pm at Playwrights Horizons Mainstage Theatre. Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien will direct this presentation, which is part of the company’s Revelation Readings series.
Patrick Page will star in the title role, with the cast also including Richard Easton, Jennifer Ehle, John Elison Conlee, Victor Garber, Darren Goldstein, Mamie Gummer, Aaron Krohn, Daniel Stewart Sherman, Benjamin Walker, and Paxton Whitehead.
Upcoming readings include Beaumont & Fletcher A King and No King (January 23), directed by Michael Sexton, featuring Matthew Rauch; Jacobean Genet Bull Session (January 31), a discussion between Jean-Claude van Itallie and Michael Feingold; and Alfred de Musset’s Lorenzaccio, directed by Joseph Hardy, with Daniel Davis, Philip Goodwin, Jennifer Ikeda and Santino Fontana.
