Watch a Behind-the-Scenes Video of the Wicked Movie

Universal Pictures released a new behind-the-scenes video of Wicked before the trailer comes out on Wednesday. The video features interviews with director Jon M. Chu (In the Heights), Tony winner Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba in the film, and Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda. The footage includes Erivo and Grande being told they got the parts. Watch the full video below.

The film also stars Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Tony nominee Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard of Oz. Wicked will be released in two parts, with the first film releasing on November 27 and the second on November 26, 2025.
