The original cast recording of the new Broadway musical comedy Shucked will be released on streaming platforms on Friday, May 5, shortly after the Tony Award nominations are announced. The CD will be available on June 9. You can pre-order the CD and add the cast album to your streaming platforms here.

With music by Grammy-winning songwriters Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, and a book by Robert Horn (Tootsie), Shucked tells the story of a small town facing a big corn crisis. Broadway star Alex Newell appears as “Lulu” and sings the number “Independently Owned,” regularly stopping the show at the Nederlander Theatre.
