The Douglas Carter Beane comedy is open at Lincoln Center Theater.
Shows for Days, a new backstage comedy written by Douglas Carter Beane and directed by Jerry Zaks, is now running at Lincoln Center's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. The semi-autobiographical show follows a 14-year-old native of Reading, Pennsylvania named Car (Michael Urie) who is introduced to the world of theater at his local community theater. The organization is led by Irene (Patti LuPone), a force of nature who directs, designs, and stars in every play. Take a look at the Shows for Days cast, in action on Lincoln Center's off-Broadway stage.
