Nominations for the 71st Annual Tony Awards will be announced this morning, May 2, at 8:30am EDT, by Jane Krakowski (She Loves Me) and Christopher Jackson (Hamilton). You can watch the full announcement live via embedded feed below.
Jackson originated the role of George Washington in Broadway's Hamilton and earned a Tony nomination for his performance last season. Krakowski won a Tony for her performance in Nine and also earned a Tony nomination last season for her performance in the revival of She Loves Me.
Also in attendance at the nominations announcement will be David Henry Hwang, chairman of the American Theatre Wing; Heather Hitchens, president of the American Theatre Wing; Robert E. Wankel, chairman of the Broadway League; and Charlotte St. Martin, president of the Broadway League.
The 2017 Tony Awards, presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, will be broadcast live on CBS from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 11. Stage and screen icon Kevin Spacey, a 1991 Tony winner for his performance in Lost in Yonkers, will host.
A limited number of tickets to the Tony Awards will be made available to the general public beginning at 9am EDT.
