Stranger Things: The First Shadow, a play by Kate Trefry from an original story by Trefry, the Duffer Brothers, and Jack Thorne, is a prequel to the television series. Watch a trailer for the West End production, directed by Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot), below.

The play takes place in Hawkins in 1959, when new student Henry Creel arrives in town, bringing with him the shadows of his past. The West End run has been extended into 2025.
