We’ve Got Annie and Bernadette and Andrea and Katie on Broadway Opening Night

It’s a family affair as the 35th Anniversary revival of Annie opens on Broadway.

The Charles Strouse, Martin Charnin, Thomas Meehan musical stars 11-year-old Lilla Crawford in the title role, with two-time Tony Award-winner Katie Finneran as the villainous Miss Hannigan and Australian stage star Anthony Warlow as Oliver Warbucks. Brynn O’Malley, Clarke Thorell, and J. Elaine Marcos complete the principal company, with Madi Rae DiPietro, Georgi James, Junah Jang, Tyrah Skye Odoms, Taylor Richardson, and Emily Rosenfeld as the orphans, and Sadie Sink and Jaidyn Young as the orphan standbys.

The cast also includes Ashley Blanchet, Jane Blass, Jeremy Davis, Fred Inkley, Merwin Foard, Joel Hatch, Amanda Lea LaVergne, Gavin Lodge, Liz McCartney, Desi Oakley, Keven Quillon, David Rossetti, Sarah Solie, Dennis Stowe, and Ryan VanDenBoom.

Guests at the opening night performance included Kenneth Bowser, Andrea Burns, Jamie deRoy, Peter Flynn, Jim Gaffigan, Anita Gillette, Steve Guttenberg, Amy Irving, Andrea McArdle, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Luis Miranda, Bobby Moynihan, Marissa O’Donnell, Bernadette Peters, Caroline Rhea, Tony Sheldon, and Jennifer Westfeldt.

The production features scenic design by David Korins, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Donald Holder, sound design by Brian Ronan, projection design by Wendall K. Harrington, orchestrations by Michael Starobin, dance music arrangements by Alex Lacamoire, musical coordination by Patrick Vaccariello, hair and wig design by Tom Watson, and animal training by William Berloni.
