The historical solo play about Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal has set its closing date.

Wiesenthal, the new solo play about the life of Simon Wiesenthal, will play its final performance at the Acorn Theatre on February 22.

Written by and starring Tom Dugan, Wiesenthal opened off-Broadway on November 5 after beginning preview performances on October 24. Jenny Sullivan directs the production, which tells the true story of Austrian Holocaust survivor Simon Wiesenthal, often referred to as the "Jewish James Bond," who became a famed Nazi hunter after World War II. Part memoir and part spy thriller, Wiesenthal introduces this historical figure on the day before his retirement as he welcomes his final group of Americans to his office in the Jewish Documentation Center in Vienna.

"Plays that engage, enlighten, and entertain audiences have always been part of my mission," says producer Daryl Roth. "Wiesenthal's story is a very significant part of our history, and I am honored to be sharing it this season."
