Wolf Hall Audiences Can Partake in an English Feast at Rock Center Café

Rock Center Café is offering Wolf Hall's most ambitious patrons an extra perk. Audiences planning to see Parts 1 and 2 of the Royal Shakespeare Company production on the same day will have the option of partaking in a special English Feast, provided by the restaurant.

Priced at $48 (plus tax, gratuity, and beverages), the meal offers theatergoers three courses created by Rock Center Café’s executive chef, Antonio Prontelli. The menu will feature items popular in English culture and during the reign of King Henry VIII.

Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 will begin performances on Friday, March 20, at the Winter Garden Theatre in advance of an official opening on Thursday, April 9.

The two plays are adapted by Mike Poulton from Hilary Mantel's Man Booker Prize-winning novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies. Set in the 1500s, the plays tell the story of Thomas Cromwell and his rise to power to become the right-hand man of Henry VIII, as well as Cromwell's interactions with Anne Boleyn. The plays are directed by Jeremy Herrin and adapted for the stage by Mike Poulton.
