Works by A.R. Gurney, Neil Simon Set for TACT’s 2011-2012 Season

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre has announced its 2011-2012 season to be offered at the Beckett Theatre on Theatre Row.

The company’s first offering will be A.R. Gurney’s Children, October 18-November 19, which centers on a family that has gathered to celebrate the Fourth of July in their summer home on an island off the New England coast. Scott Alan Evans will direct the production.

The second offering in the TACT season will be Neil Simon’s Lost in Yonkers, March 14 -April 14. Simon’s memory play is set in 1942 Yonkers and centers on two boys who find themselves living with their stern grandmother and their mentally challenged aunt. Jenn Thompson will direct the production.

The cast and creative team for both productions will be announced at a later date.
