Midori

In 1982 Zubin Mehta first heard Midori play the violin; she was 11 years old. Mehta was so impressed he invited her to be a surprise guest soloist at the New York Philharmonic’s traditional New Year’s Eve Concert. Since that night, she has been a soloist with major national orchestras in cities across the nation.
