Since opening its doors to the public in 1961, Preservation Hall has become a national treasure showcasing the best of classic New Orleans jazz. A half century later, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band is known worldwide for its swinging, high-octane Dixieland performances. Tracing its lineage directly to New Orleans’ earliest incarnations of jazz, the band’s multi-generational roster includes many of the Crescent City’s finest musicians who proudly carry on the traditions of this great American art form.
