The King Stag

Using touches of magic, puppetry, and Commedia Dell’Arte, The King Stag takes us on an imaginative voyage filled with spells, beauty, treachery, and love. We find King Deramo searching for a queen; his only conditions are that she prove faithful and true. But while on a hunting trip in the forest, Tartaglia, the king’s most trusted minister, betrays Deramo and usurps his kingdom. With a cast of courtiers and clowns providing a backdrop of mayhem and intrigue, Deramo must now use wit and cunning to regain his kingdom and save his future queen.
