On the Razzle

Freely adapted from Austrian playwright Johann Nestroy’s 19th Century farce, Einen Fux will er sich machen (which also inspired Thornton Wilder’s The Matchmaker), Tom Stoppard’s On the Razzle follows the madcap adventures of two store clerks while their boss is away. The play is filled with mistaken identities, malapropisms and Stoppard’s trademark wordplay. David Jones directs.
