ASCENSION follows a young woman’s emotional metamorphosis from creative paralysis to courageously rising above her fears and learning to live and create freely. Audre is a writer too encapsulated by her own fears and insecurities to write anything at all. Sarah, once Audre’s professor and now her lover, has convinced Audre to hide away from the world. When Caleb, a charasmatic drifter, is passionately attracted to Audre’s vulnerability, a romantic triangle is formed. In the midst of this emotional conflict, Audre is finally forced to take decisive action.
