Lovely Sarah, a nice Jewish young woman, wants nothing better than to please her parents who, in their somewhat Old World traditional perspective, would like her to date (and marry) someone like a nice Jewish doctor. But Sarah has been secretly dating an executive named, of all things, Chris Cringle. She concocts a scheme wherein she hires an actor from an escort service to pose as her physician boyfriend, Dr. Steinberg. Despite his surname, escort Bob Schroeder isn’t Jewish either. And Bob and Sarah fall for each other while she attempts to deceive her parents and therapist brother. Oh, what a tangled web we weave….
