The brainchild of Fox film executive, Nikki Levy, Don’t Tell My Mother is L.A.’s new, monthly storytelling show where comics, actors, voice-over artists and award-winning screenwriters are hand-selected to share eight- to ten-minute stories they’d never want their mothers to know. Nikki, an out lesbian in the entertainment business, brings her queer sensibility as host and producer, garnering a largely gay audience.
While performers reveal secrets to strangers, audiences delight in tales about masturbating to dad’s porn, accidentally showing up at a gay sex party, getting arrested for shoplifting, and selling eggs for cash. Anything goes at Don’t Tell, as long as it’s true.
