The title of this play refers to the defining image of M.C. Escher’s sketch of two hands, each drawing the other. Playwright Dawson Nichols explores the writer’s process, the line between fiction and reality and the vicissitudes of control in relationships in this story of two writers whose characters take on a life of their own.
