Even though it received highly respectable reviews and ran almost 150 performances, the 60’s musical It’s a Bird… It’s a Plane… It’s Superman has never been revived. Until now! The story (by Bonnie & Clyde writers Benton & Newman) has Superman facing a mad scientist, an evil newsman and, perhaps worse, a foe for the hand of Lois Lane. Strouse & Adam’s score is sophisticated fun (“You’ve Got Possibilities”) and a worthy follow-up to their Bye, Bye, Birdie. Come discover the singing-dancing “Man of Steel.”
