Red Chief

West of Broadway presents Red Chief!, a modern adaptation of O. Henry’s classic short story “The Ransom of Red Chief.” O. Henry’s original story tells the tale of two fugitives who kidnap a young boy in the hopes of ransoming him. But when that boy actually enjoys his stay with his kidnappers, and thinks he’s on a camping trip, the fugitives decide to give him back. It turns out, however, that the boy is such a nuisance even his own father is reluctant to take him.

Kids are invited to wear costumes to every performance.
