The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

About the Show

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a timeless classic tale of boyhood adventures in the late 1880s. The irrepressible Tom convinces his friends to whitewash the fence, gets in trouble at school, romances Becky Thatcher, witnesses a horrible event in the graveyard, runs away to be a pirate, gets lost in a cave, and revels in the joys and sorrows of growing up. This world premiere adaptation by Youth Theatre director Joe Lauderdale features additional music and lyrics by Mark Turnbull and is directed by Donna Inglima, the theatre’s education director.

There is an added performance on Thursday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m.
