About the Show

The Norman Conquests by Alan Aychbourn consists of three separate plays that recount the events of a single night. These tales chronicle Norman’s attempted adultery with his sister-in-law, scotched at every turn by well-meaning friends and relations. These are three self-contained plays featuring the same people at the same house over the same weekend each set in a different part of the house. Ayckbourn skillfully manages to provide the audience with three vantage points for observing the tensions operating within and around the family.

Table Manners, directed by Beverly Olevin, covers events around mealtimes in the dining room Living Together, directed by Bruce Gray, takes place in the sitting room
Round and Round The Garden, directed by Emily Chase, takes up the action as it occurs in the garden
