The Turn of the Screw

In this adaptation of Henry James’ novel, a mysterious man charges an attractive Victorian governess to care for his orphaned nephew and niece. She accepts the position, and upon her arrival falls instantly in love with the manor house, the remote Essex countryside and the children. But why was the young boy expelled from school? And why does the angelic young sister refuse to speak? Strange apparitions in the manor house try to lure the children towards a storm-tossed lake.
