A Catered Affair

Four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Hairspray, Torch Song Trilogy) and Tony Award-winning director John Doyle (Sweeney Todd, Company) join forces for a poignant and charming new work. In the 1950s, Bronx family ties are strained when a couple must decide on giving their only daughter the grand wedding they never had. The cast is headed by Broadway greats Faith Prince (Guys and Dolls, Bells Are Ringing) as “Aggie Hurley” and Fierstein as “Uncle Winston.” A Catered Affair is based on the teleplay by three-time Academy award-winner Paddy Chayefsky (Marty), with music and lyrics by a unique voice in musical theatre, John Bucchino, this Broadway-bound musical is funny, heartwarming and uplifting for audiences of all ages.
